I finally went to briefing tonight at work! It's been, what, about a month since I last attended briefing- that's a long time. I've been dispatching first and unable to attend briefing at 2200, but I went today and it reminded me that I need to keep updated with what's going on around me. It makes me feel more part of the team when I go to briefing and it allows me to know what is being discussed or going on outside the dragon lair.
Domestic Disturbance was the choice film of the night. Ale and I had already seen the film, or at least parts of the film, but we were still interested enough to have it play while working. It is an interesting movie when you watch it for the first time, but, sad to admit, watching it over again makes it less dramatic. I've also been trying to catch up on Heroes, one of my favorite shows. I refuse to watch an episode of Heroes Season 4 without following up on the previous seasons. I'm almost there, but thanks to the internet revolution I will not be able to miss out on Heroes Season 4 or any episode prior. The other day, I finished Heroes Season 2 in essentially one afternoon. I noticed an inconsistency with the Maya character, seriously, her Spanish accent nearly disappears between Heroes Season 2 and Heroes Season 3 (awkward!). I wonder how television companies make their money these days when the internet offers replays of shows for free? I am such a big fan that I purchase the sets, but not everyone does the same.
My favorite past time at home is cuddling. I think its the sense of comfort it provides that makes me love it so much. If I had to choose, I would definitely choose to stay at home and cuddle with my dogs doing nothing over getting dolled up to go out to a club or bar with a group of friends. I am such a homebody sometimes, it's nice to just sit back and take it your surroundings. Today it was nice spending all afternoon in bed cuddling, listening to the wind blow outside, and feeling the sunshine through the window. It also doesn't hurt if you have an amazing cuddling partner to keep you company.
